Dr. Abby Jakob
Dr. Abby Jakob is a native of Kingsville, Ontario and has spent eight years away from home at school. She is proud to be back to serve your family's eyecare needs.

Dr. Jakob graduated from Kingsville District High school, where she played basketball and soccer, volleyball, badminton and alto saxophone with the school's jazz band, which won a gold medal! Dr. Jakob speaks both English and French. She received a full-ride scholarship to play basketball at Dalhousie University in Halifax, where she earned a degree with Honours in Kinesiology. She then attended the Illinois College of Optometry where she graduated summa cum laude in May of 2014. Her proudest achievement from optometry was being voted by her peers as "Colleague of The Year".

Dr. Jakob enjoys spending time with her husband Patrick and her new baby, Max, in her spare time! She enjoys getting together with family and close friends, going on the boat to Cedar Point, travelling, and playing with her cats and dog!

Dr. Jakob welcomed Baby Dal into her family recently!
